Abstract
The holy book of the Qur'an consists of 114 surahs. Each surah has a different number of verses. Some of the verses are long and some are short. The number of verses in a surah, and the length or shortness of the verses have an influence on the aim of grouping (Clustering) the surahs in the Qur'an based on the name of the surah, the number of verses, and the meaning of the surah. The clustering algorithm used in K-means. from the experiments carried out, the optimal value was obtained in the 14th iteration with a K value of 5 clusters. Cluster-0 consists of 53 members with the largest centroid value on the letter name variable of 81.722, the meaning of the verse variable of 78.796, and the number of verses variable of 15.833, cluster_1 consists of 6 members with the centroid value on the letter name variable of 13.833, the meaning of the letter variable of 13.833, the number of verses variable of 192.667, Cluster-2 consists of 1 member with the centroid value on the letter name variable of 2, the meaning of the letter variable of 2, and the number of verses variable of the largest 286, Cluster-3 consists of 33 members with the centroid value on the many verses variable of 48.273, the meaning of the letter variable of 46.939, and the number of verses variable of 54.939, cluster-4 consists of 20 members with the centroid value on the letter name variable of 23.200, the meaning of the letter variable of 23.200, the number of verses variable of 106,200.
