Pengembangan Media Funworder Untuk Mengatasi Kesulitan Membaca Pemahaman Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri 085116 Kota Sibolga

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are students who are still unable to understand reading due to children's lack of interest and motivation in learning and learning that is too monotonous. This research aims to describe the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the Funworder media in overcoming the reading comprehension difficulties of third grade students. This research uses a type of research (Research and Development) using the 4D research model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). In general, the research stages carried out were the product development stage, product validation stage and product trial stage. The sample in this research was 28 class III students at SD N 085116 Sibolga City. The results obtained from the development of Funworder media are the results of the validity of Funworder media being tested from the validity of media experts and language experts getting a score of 91% in the very valid category and testing the validity of material experts with a score of 95%. Furthermore, the results of Funworder's practicality were tested using a teacher response questionnaire with a score of 91% and students obtained a score of 85% in the very practical category. Then, the results of the effectiveness of the Funworder media product were tested using tests in the form of pretest and posttest which were then calculated using the N-Gain Score test, namely 76% with the effective category used to overcome difficulties in reading comprehension for class III students at SD N 085116 Sibolga City.
