Abstract


This study aims to review the feasibility and implementation of Sukabumi District Regulation No. 11/2005 on the Control of Alcoholic Beverages as a shari'ah local regulation in Sukabumi District. The results show that Sukabumi District Regulation No. 11/2005 on the Control of Alcoholic Beverages is a representative and feasible local regulation because it departs from the concerns of the people of Sukabumi District about the circulation of alcoholic beverages that have the potential to cause adverse effects both on individuals and social life. In its implementation, this regulation has been in line with the scope contained in the policy implementation benchmarks based on Merilee S. Grindle's theory and in its contribution has benefits for the community so that in this case the government has succeeded in translating its role to maintain the value of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar which prioritizes the common good in Sukabumi District.
