Abstract


National commitment is an important indicator to see the extent of a person's or particular group's religious views and expressions towards national ideology. Therefore, the aim of this research focuses on two studies, namely: the meaning of national commitment and the manifestation of the spirit of national commitment. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The approach used is a descriptive study. In qualitative approach research, the data is in the form of sentences or narratives obtained through qualitative data collection techniques. The results of the research explain that currently we must be able to foster a national spirit as exemplified by the nation's warriors to overcome various national problems by never giving up, always working hard, being honest, fair, disciplined, having the courage to fight against arbitrariness, not being corrupt, tolerant and etc.
