Partisipasi Lembaga Ad-Dakwah Sumut dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Masyarakat Muslim Desa Kutabuluh Kampung Pertapakan

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the ability to read the Al-Qur'an in the Muslim community of Kutabuluh Village, Kampung Pertapakan, Kutabuluh District, Karo Regency and the participation of North Sumatra Ad-Dakwah in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an of the Kampung Pertapakan community starting from the implementation of activities, methods and forms participation. This research uses a qualitative research method using a phenomological approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation to obtain information. The results of the research show that the ability to read the Al-Quran in the Muslim community of Kutabuluh Village, Kampung Pertapakan is still relatively low, because many people cannot read the Al-Qur'an, let alone know the makharijul letters and the laws of recitation in the Al-Qur'an, especially for adults. The activities organized by Ad-Dakwah North Sumatra to improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an of the people of Pertapakan Village were carried out for 12 days during the day and night. The types of activities held include: (1) Routine Recitation Program, (2) Tahsin Program, (3) Express Islamic Boarding School Program, (4) Teaching Program in Schools, and (5) Islamic Festival Competition Program. The learning methods used are: Tsaqifah, Iqro', Qira'at, Talaqqi, and memorizing methods. The forms of North Sumatra Ad-Dakwah participation include: Providing Koran teachers, providing special Al-Qur'an education programs, providing writing tools such as notebooks, pens, pencils and erasers to children, and collaborating with various parties.
