Pengaruh Media Scrapbook Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN 060913 Medan Tembung
Abstract
The research entitled The Influence of Scrapbook Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Subjects in Class IV SDN 060913 Medan Tembung is based on the following problems: 1) Students are not interested in the learning process that occurs in class, 2) Students feel bored with the learning methods used, 3) Teachers have not innovated in developing learning media, 4) Material about the diversity of Indonesian tribes and cultures is considered difficult by students because it is difficult to remember and not visually visible. The purpose of this study was to see the influence of Scrapbook media on student learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects in class IV SDN 060913 Medan Tembung. The methodology of this study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental approach. The sampling technique used in this study is Cluster Random Sampling, a sampling technique in one population that is taken randomly, from this technique, students in class IV-A are obtained as the experimental class and IV-B as the control class. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that student learning outcomes were influenced by Scrapbook learning media. In the experimental class, the average posttest score was 86.05 and the control class was 61.00. The results of the study showed that, after being analyzed with an independent simple t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.00 <0.05, which means Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Scrapbook media on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class IV SDN 060913 Medan Tembung.
