Pengembangan Materi Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

The development of Islamic religious education materials must pay attention to the principles of relevance and adequacy. The current increase in information technology encourages the implementation of learning that brings up critical thinking ideas from students in understanding theoretical concepts. Based on observations in the field, it shows that there are still students who have not been able to convey their understanding of Islamic religious education materials that have been studied critically. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of Islamic religious education materials based on critical thinking skills at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This study is a field research that uses a qualitative approach. The development of Islamic religious education materials based on critical thinking skills is carried out in several stages starting with needs analysis, compiling curriculum content, developing materials, implementing and ending with evaluation. Based on the study, it is known that Islamic religious education teachers can use Islamic religious education materials that are integrated with the help of technology so that there are changes in students in understanding the subject matter critically.
