Abstract

In the era of globalization, media plays a crucial role in facilitating intercultural communication. This study examines how both traditional and digital media serve as bridges connecting diverse cultures worldwide. Media not only disseminates information but also shapes perceptions and understanding of different cultural values. Through the analysis of various media forms, including film, television, and social media platforms, the research finds that media can enrich intercultural communication experiences while also having the potential to foster stereotypes and misunderstandings. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of media literacy in promoting more constructive and empathetic interactions among cultural groups. In conclusion, media wields significant power in shaping intercultural dialogue, and its wise utilization can enhance understanding and tolerance in diverse societies.
