Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Team Game Tournament (TGT) Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar PAI Pada Siswa Kelas VII di SMP N 2 Lubuk Basung
Abstract
In learning, students should actively participate in the learning process, not just accept and listen to the teacher's explanation. By implementing the Team Game Tournament (TGT) model in Islamic Religious Education learning, it can encourage students to become more active in learning. This research aims to find out whether students' learning activity becomes better with the application of the Team Game Tournament learning model compared to the application of the Direct Instruction model with the lecture method in Islamic Religious Education subjects for class VII students at SMP N 2 Lubuk Basung. This research is quantitative research and uses a method (quasi experimental design) with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. This research consists of 2 (two) variables, namely the independent variable Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model and the dependent variable learning activity. Data collection was carried out by filling in student activity observation sheets, which were filled in directly by the observer, namely the class VII Islamic Religious Education teacher at SMP N 2 Lubuk Basung. The total population of this study was 54 students and the sample was 30 students with the sampling technique used, namely probability sampling with a simple random method. Decision making with a significant value <0.05 indicates that there is a better difference between the experimental class and the control class with a significant value between the dependent variable and the independent variable. The sig value has a value of 0.002, this shows that there is a significant difference in the treatment given to each variable. So it can be concluded that there is an influence in the application of the Team Game Tournament learning model on students' active learning in class VII Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP N 2 Lubuk Basung.
