Kesiapan Guru dan Siswa Dalam Mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Mata Pelajaran PAI di SDN 03 Pakan Labuah Bukittinggi

Abstract

The readiness of teachers and students in implementing the independent curriculum in PAI subjects at SDN 03 Pakan Labuah Bukittinggi is that with changes to the curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, which brings significant changes in the learning approach. This change requires PAI teachers to be able to adapt teaching methods, as well as prepare students to be actively involved in the learning process. Students who have difficulty adapting to different learning approaches still find it difficult to understand the material in the independent curriculum, so they are less motivated to be actively involved in the learning process. As long as the learning process is still teacher-centered, the teacher still provides the material completely to students. This research uses field research using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques that the author uses are observation, interviews and documentation. The key informants in this research were fifth grade students and PAI teachers, as well as the school principal, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Deputy Head of Sarpras as supporting informants. The results of this research show that teacher readiness includes cognitive, psychological, financial and physical readiness. However, regarding the use of learning media in each case, only sometimes teachers can use it. Meanwhile, student readiness includes physical, mental, emotional, material and knowledge conditions, but there are some students who find it difficult to understand the material in the independent curriculum.
