Abstract
Legal counseling on the topic of “Legal Education for Local Small Business Entrepreneurs in Market Competition in Arso District, Keerom Regency” was conducted to examine the criteria, market regulations, and legal protection available to small business entrepreneurs in market competition in Keerom Regency.Market performance reflects the efficiency of a market in utilizing scarce resources to meet consumer demand for goods and services. Legal protection for small business entrepreneurs in market competition in Arso District is addressed through various policies. However, competition policies concerning the relevant market have not been implemented through adequate supervision of market structures and market behavior, based on an analysis of small business entrepreneurs and their business practices. These entrepreneurs face difficulties in developing their businesses as long as the Keerom Regency Government and medium- to large-scale business operators lack the commitment to provide business spaces for small business entrepreneurs in modern commercial centers, such as shophouse complexes, shopping malls, and supermarkets.
