Abstract
Early childhood vocabulary development requires the support of engaging and innovative learning media. One of the learning tools that can support children’s vocabulary development is the use of pop-up book learning media. This study aims to increase the variety of educational play tools (APE) through pop-up book media at TK Pertiwi, Labuhan Ratu Tujuh, East Lampung. The method used in this community service activity was the Service Learning (SL) method, in which the mentoring team provided training and guidance on creating pop-up book media to support children’s vocabulary development at TK Pertiwi. The activity was conducted over two sessions and consisted of several stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the teachers actively participated and responded positively throughout the mentoring process, as this was their first experience receiving guidance on developing pop-up book media as an educational play tool. The teachers also successfully completed the creation of the learning media. The use of pop-up book media proved effective in developing children’s eye-hand coordination, memory, and cooperation skills, while also enriching their vocabulary through interactive three-dimensional visual displays.
