Abstract
This community service activity aimed to revitalize the Waled Kota Village Library, Cirebon Regency, by transforming it into a more engaging digital storytelling-based interactive library for children, while also improving collection management and facilitating access to information for the local community. The problems encountered included poorly organized book collections that did not conform to the applicable classification system, a reading corner that was less attractive to visitors, and the absence of a digital library account to facilitate collection searches. The activity was implemented using a participatory approach consisting of several stages, namely preparation, observation, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and inauguration. The activities were conducted from August 3 to 22, 2026, and included cleaning and classifying books according to the applicable classification system, numbering and labeling 979 copies of books donated by the National Library of Indonesia, entering collection data into the Taman Pustaka website, rearranging books on the shelves, decorating the reading corner with origami crafts, adding facilities such as a fence and carpets, and inaugurating the library as the closing activity. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach by comparing the condition of the library before and after the activities and assessing the extent to which the planned targets were achieved. The results showed that all stages were successfully completed according to schedule, with an achievement rate of 100 percent. The book collection is now organized according to the classification system, making it easier to search through the digital catalog. The reading corner has also become more attractive, and the library facilities have been improved, supporting the development of an interactive digital storytelling-based library for children. Through this activity, it is expected that library visits, reading interest, and the literacy culture of the Waled Kota Village community will continue to increase sustainably.
