Abstract
The use of waste cooking oil (jelantah) that is disposed of carelessly causes environmental pollution and health risks in the community. This community service activity aims to provide training for the residents of Desa Tanjung Air Hitam in processing waste cooking oil into aromatherapy candles that are environmentally friendly and have economic value. The method used consisted of counseling, hands-on training in candle making, and mentoring in simple product packaging and marketing. The results show that participants were able to independently produce aromatherapy candles with a good quality standard, and the activity succeeded in raising participants' awareness of waste management and opening a new source of household income. This activity is expected to be continued and developed into a sustainable small-scale home industry.
