Abstract


Pemanenan air berfungsi sebagai intervensi krusial untuk mengatasi tantangan kelangkaan air di daerah pedesaan, terutama di wilayah yang mengalami perubahan iklim yang signifikan. Melalui teknik seperti pemanenan air hujan dan penggunaan sistem canggih untuk penangkapan air yang efisien, masyarakat pedesaan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan mereka terhadap dampak buruk kekeringan dan pola curah hujan yang tidak menentu. Hal ini penting karena banyak daerah pedesaan menghadapi penurunan pasokan air akibat perubahan siklus hidrologi dan meningkatnya permintaan air. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk Mensosialisasikan metode pemanenan air hujan untuk alternative sumber air bersih di masyarakat, Mengupayakan penerapan teknologi PAH dalam rangka memudahkan masyarakat memperoleh sumber air selain penggunaan sumur bor. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan simulasi penggunaan peralatan PAH pada kelompok masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan simulasi penerapan metode Panen Air Hujan (PAH) dengan menggunakan metode penampungan air hujan maka diperlukan pendampingan pada masyarakat baik dalam proses pembuatan hingga pemanfaatan air hujan hasil panen air hujan. Untuk tingkat yang lebih baik, maka perlu membawa hasil pengabdian ini pada kegiatan KKN mahasiswa agar memberikan manfaat bagi kedua belah pihak. Untuk kepentingan pengembangan keilmuan maka diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk metode-metode terbaru yang lebih sederhana, ekonomis dan mudah dilaksanakan pada masyarakat.
