Abstract


Yayasan Sampah Amal Nusantara (SPAN) faces challenges in managing its waste bank due to the absence of an integrated information system for handling data related to waste pickup locations, waste types, and transaction balance records. This study aims to develop a Waste Bank Management Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to enable fast and user-centered system development. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study, while system development followed three RAD phases: requirement planning, RAD design workshop, and implementation. The system was built using PHP with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database, and evaluated using Black Box Testing. The results show that all core functions, including customer data management, transaction processing, and reporting, operate as intended. The developed system provides more structured access to waste management and transaction data, improving the accuracy, transparency, and operational effectiveness of SPAN while supporting sustainable waste management efforts.
