Peran Teknologi Dalam Menjembatani Kesenjangan Pendidikan di Indonesia

Abstract

The gap in access and quality of education in Indonesia is a big challenge, especially in terms of access to technology, infrastructure and teacher readiness in utilizing technology for learning. Even though the Merdeka Belajar program seeks to improve the quality of education, the digital divide is still significant. This research aims to examine the role of technology in bridging the education gap in Indonesia. Using the literature review method, this research analyzes various related literature. The research results show gaps in access to technology and infrastructure, as well as the need for a multicultural approach in implementing educational technology. A comprehensive strategy is needed that includes improving infrastructure, continuous teacher training, and developing a curriculum that is integrated with technology. Research suggests continued investment in technology infrastructure, teacher training, and technology-integrated curriculum development for equitable access and quality of education in Indonesia.
