Abstract
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become an important issue in the business world, along with increasing attention to the social and environmental impacts of business activities. CSR is not only defined as an obligation to improve community welfare, but also as an effort to build trust and credibility in the eyes of the public. In the Islamic context, CSR is not only related to economic aspects, but also includes deep ethical values, such as amanah (trust), just (justice), and ihsan (doing good). This research aims to explore the concept of CSR from an Islamic perspective and analyze how the application of Islamic principles in CSR can strengthen relations between companies and society, as well as increase the company's reputation and credibility in the eyes of the public. Through a literature study approach, this research analyzes various literature related to CSR in Islam, including basic principles that can be applied in sustainable CSR practices. The research results show that implementing CSR based on Islamic teachings, which prioritizes justice, transparency and the welfare of the people, can build better relationships between companies and society, as well as strengthen the company's positive image. Furthermore, CSR based on Islamic ethics has the potential to increase public trust and company credibility in the long term, by creating positive social impacts and creating benefits for humanity.
