Abstract


Objective-Intellectual curiosity towards sharia-based institutions has increased recently in its development in various sharia institutions. This study aims to provide a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the patterns and trends of scientific literature on regulation in sharia compliance research. Design/Methodology/Approach- Based on the scopus database, descriptive bibliometric analysis with the vos viewer visualization tool was used to assess 674 articles on regulation in sharia compliance. Findings- This study found many articles on regulation in sharia compliance. According to this study, Malaysia has published more of this publication than other countries, the International Islamic University Malaysia is an affiliate that publishes articles about this. Then the Business, Management and Accounting Journal as the most subject area with a percentage of 31.6%. Furthermore, followed by the Economics, Econometrics and Finance journal as much as 28.3%. This can be seen from the number of citations. The Business, Management and Accounting Journal is the most productive journal. The keyword sharia compliance is the most widely used keyword, followed by regulation, islamic finance and islamic banking. Practical implications-The study can be used as a useful reference for further researchers who use bibliometrics by introducing well-known authors in the field. In addition, this study makes it easier for researchers to collaborate more widely by looking at the existing keyword fields.
