Manajemen Proyek Sistem Informasi Menggunakan Metode Waterfall Untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Pada Usaha Catering

Abstract

Catering businesses that still use manual report recording face various obstacles, including delays in reporting, recording errors, and inefficient order management processes. This study aims to develop an information system using the Waterfall method to overcome the problem of report recording, as well as provide features for buyers to view products directly and facilitate the payment process. The Waterfall method was chosen because of its structured workflow, including the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system not only automates report recording, but also allows buyers to access product catalogs online and make payments easily. The test results show that this system can increase recording efficiency by up to 50%, improve the accuracy of report data, and provide a more practical shopping experience for buyers. Thus, this information system has the potential to support catering business management in improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
