Implementasi Kegiatan Muhadharah Dalam Pengembangan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Santri di Pondok Pesantren Modern Ainul Yaqin Batagak Kabupaten Agam
Abstract
This research was motivated by the large number of students who did not attend muhadharah activities. When muhadharah took place there were still many students playing around and not paying attention to their friends who were appearing in front. Some students lack critical thinking skills, such as some students who cannot ask and answer questions that require explanation or challenge from the teacher. The research aims to find out how muhadharah activities are implemented in developing students' critical thinking skills and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for muhadharah activities in developing students' critical thinking abilities at the Ainul Yaqin Batagak Modern Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research and is located at the Ainul Yaqin Modern Islamic Boarding School, Batagak, Kab. Agam. The research informants in this study were the female students and female students of the muhadharah officers as key informants and the supporting informants were the muhadharah supervisors and the school principal. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Milles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of muhadharah activities in developing students' critical thinking skills at the Ainul Yaqin Batagak Modern Islamic Boarding School, is carried out once a week on Monday evenings from 20.00 to 21.00 after the evening prayer is finished.
